I haven't used them much but I browse many lamps online to compare models, specs and brands. I chose these and am glad I did. I use them on my mountain bike. I usually drive on the freeway and wanted to make sure I was seen. I tied two to the back of my helmet (red) and attached the blue and green ones to the handlebars and frame. I didn't want a battery pack (lithium ion etc.) because I didn't want the lights to go out while driving. Some of them don't last long, especially over the life of the lamp and if you use higher lumen settings (at multi-lumen output). I also didn't want the headlights to be almost dead when I want to drive, and I don't want to leave them charged forever to be always ready. So I wanted a battery powered flashlight. It's amazing how long the battery life (watch battery size) is for these lights. Very worth the price. I bought two boxes (reg, green, blue package). I would buy them again.
