Review on Motorcraft CX1886 Idle Control Motor by Etai Gopala
New Motorcraft part but please note it is not compatible with all engines listed:
The part is supplied in OEM packaging and is in good condition from both Revain and this supplier. However, it didn't work on my 2.0 liter DOHC Zetec and Ford confirmed that this part is for the SRT engine and not the standard models. The correct model for the specified engine is CX1775. After installation, the engine worked as expected. It was dangerous to drive with the CX1886 installed as it would not idle. Just ask Ford before you buy your engine.
