I won't be buying an HDTV anytime soon. So I just don't need some features. I've had it for a little over a month now and this device works great with everything I've tried. And the price was right. It is connected to a Zenith TV via an Optimus receiver, I have recorded from audio CD to cassette (JVC cassette deck) with great results. The picture is fantastic, the sound is excellent, audio CDs and CD-Rs play without any problems. I haven't tried it with MP3 or CD-RW yet, but I don't think there will be any problems. No problem with new, used or rented DVDs. The remote has features I'll probably never use, and the basics are easy to pick up (I'm not a big fan of reading manuals). source instead of Ant/Cable.) Nothing like that. This is a great machine for the price, I think you will be happy with its performance.
