Review on 🚙 GMC Sierra 1500/2500HD/3500HD Headlight Assembly Clear Lens Chrome Housing with Amber Reflector by AUTOSAVER88 (2007-2013/07-14) by Vangele Carson

This was a good replacement for my old and faded headlights. I liked the black finish instead of chrome. It made my truck stand out. Before installing I smeared the edges with silicone to ensure there were no water ingress issues and it appears to have worked well. However, they quickly disappeared. The lenses were no longer transparent and I tried polishing them to restore transparency, but that didn't work either. When I'm not driving my truck is under a canopy and I've been working from home for over a year so even with very little sunlight these lights seem to burn out very quickly. Also, the adjustment mechanism appears to be out of spec as the driver's side headlight does not adjust far enough to match the old headlights. They were great when I bought them but a year and a half later I'm wondering if I need to replace the headlights. headlights again.
