The bag is made of blue nylon fabric, impregnated with plastic on the inside (it smells strongly of plastic). The material is 20 mils thick. The bag weighs 5 and 1/4 ounces. The edges are reinforced with stitched piping. The bottom flap folds under the bag and the bag closes with Velcro. Because the valve is at the bottom of the bag, it's difficult to close (with a heavy starter at the top). Other reviewers have pointed out that this prevents the contacts from shorting out with a metal object. Since I plan to keep it in my car, it also serves to hide the trigger's purpose and hide it from would-be thieves. and an instruction booklet (but they didn't). The bag I received had a razor cut through the packaging and into the bag (the shipping box was fine), Revain replaced it. I gave it three stars because it's ok, but I still think it's worth the money (as opposed to building your own bag).
