My GE gas stove blew up when I turned it on, even singed my wife's hair once and eventually stopped burning. The instructions say they should be replaced and because they were either not included in my kit or I accidentally threw them away with the packaging I had to look for them at the hardware store where they are called porcelain wire nuts. The job turned out to be more difficult than I had hoped, glad I did it and it gave me the opportunity to give the oven a thorough cleaning.
