I'm new to the world of socks, I've never worn them, not even in winter. I would go barefoot as much as possible. i hate shoes too lol. At my age my feet suddenly started to freeze! Now I have to wear socks, I ordered several different fibers. These socks were on sale so I took a chance. Wow! Great offer, great quality - 12 pairs! And so warm and cozy. They are not tight on the strap and true to size, I bought the next size up as I needed a looser fit for home and bed. If you buy socks in your true size, they should match your boots perfectly. Next year I may order a smaller size if they are still available.
