Let me start by saying that we have used different fenders from different companies on different types and sizes of skates. Those guards didn't work for us at all. They seemed to get bigger as she walked with them on her skates, causing them to unexpectedly rotate off the skate while walking, defeating the purpose of protecting the runners when you don't know when they suddenly will NOT be protected. We'll have to re-cut and reassemble them to *hope* it works. They are also said to turn from pink to purple as they cool. Today we were in the cold arena for about 4 hours; For a time the Guardians even touched the icy bare cement, and they never changed color during use. I put them in the freezer for 10 minutes and only then 4 tiny purple spots appeared on them. My daughter was disappointed in them and I would not recommend buying them.
