The A4pet transport box didn't seem strong enough to carry our Senegal parrot on a 6 hour move. The stretcher had a very strong plastic smell and I wouldn't risk using it on a bird because they have extremely sensitive lungs. We needed a transport container that could be used during the move, as well as when taking the bird to the vet or neighbors, when cleaning the stove, or in other evacuation situations. I would be afraid that the bird would either gnaw through the material and run away, or die from the chemical smell, or simply overheat on the street without adequate air circulation.
