Cannot connect to 5GHz networks
I bought this on purpose because it can connect to 5.8GHz Wi-Fi networks. He doesn't even see them even after updating the driver. My phone is connected to a network it can't even see. If anyone reading this needs drivers, go to Google MediaTek, the drivers are on their website. Be sure to select USB drivers. I was finally able to get this to work by finding an old driver on another website. Unfortunately I don't remember where it was. MediaTek does not provide us with unsigned/beta drivers for download. They must be signed. That was my whole problem.
