Works great: USB network adapter

As a cable cutter, I do my own streaming with a Blackberry Classic smartphone as a hotspot for Internet and TV. I'm using the ATT TV service with an app on my Roku. This little gadget is my internet connection for all services installed on my HP desktop. Has its own WIFI app and from what I recall comes with an installation disk. I bought another one and was happy - it came with an installation disk. A friend who became a cable cutter gave him my other connector to help him and kept this one…

Cannot connect to 5GHz networks

I bought this on purpose because it can connect to 5.8GHz Wi-Fi networks. He doesn't even see them even after updating the driver. My phone is connected to a network it can't even see. If anyone reading this needs drivers, go to Google MediaTek, the drivers are on their website. Be sure to select USB drivers. I was finally able to get this to work by finding an old driver on another website. Unfortunately I don't remember where it was. MediaTek does not provide us with unsigned/beta drivers for

The price was right and the reviews were good. While the user interface was a bit difficult to understand and the instruction manual was printed in almost microscopic writing. I figured it out and it works and WOW. It's lightning fast. Much faster than the original Wi-Fi that came with the laptop. Actually faster than plugging…

Real word check is pretty good. Not as fast as some of the .

This item is as described. It captures the AC range at 600+ Mbps. Real word check is pretty good. Not as fast as some of the higher bandwidth USB users, but for the price it's a good buy. This isn't 5 stars because it's not plug and play like we'd like it to be. Even on Windows 10 machines I have 2 that just picked it up and some that need to inject their driver. I think the 2 that picked it up were previously installed with other USB WiFi users. As for Linux, I've tried Mint and Elementary…
