This grill is smoke free
When I bought this I knew I wouldn't be able to cook with it as much at once as I normally do on my large outdoor grill and it's been great. I spray the bottom pan and grill grate with PAM before turning it on, which makes cleaning easier when you're ready to clean and put away the grill. Wait about 5 minutes after you start putting the food in to cook and that's it. Any of you who've grilled know the right color of certain foods to tell when they're done. Just do what you normally do when grilling outdoors and you're spot on.
