Looks like they've started saving on materials.

I bought two of these, the first seemed to last forever. It actually didn't need to be replaced as I accidentally dented it. my fault Otherwise get great prints. The magnetism of the replacement was much weaker. A large bubble formed during printing which caused the seal to flex. I've even tried butterfly clips to hold the mat in place but to no avail. I had ruined three 12 hour prints. Also, this system consists of two mats, one of which is almost permanently bonded to the printer platform. I can't imagine trying to remove it without damaging the printer. Everything returns.
