I rebuilt my 40hp outboard motor. The throttle and shift levers are bolted to their shafts (see photo). The pins on the motor are thin wires. They're also a loose fit as I think they've lost some of their "feather" over the years. I will be replacing them with the smaller studs from this set. I like the box with compartments where the rivets are organized. Although some of them were "shuffled", most stayed in place. I like that because I don't have to spend time and effort sorting them out to get them back into their compartments. I also like the fact that they are galvanized so they don't rust easily. This is important for my marine application. The range includes standard sizes that most people use for household applications such as lawn mowers, outboard motors, lawn carts, etc. You can also use studs or cotter pins. They appear to be of high quality. This is a nice set to have on the shelf when working on projects that require shaft holders. I highly recommend them.
