Loud and not as strong as OEM.
Very complicated setup but it's on FORD for crappy gear. It is louder and does not blow as loud as the original fan. I had a bad vibration. So I bought this as a replacement. When I opened it up I found a small plastic plug inside which was causing the vibration. But since I had already taken it apart and it was 8 years old and had 140,000 miles on it I decided to replace it anyway. Because I didn't want to do it again in 6 months if it really gave up. I regret it now!
