and good electrical contact is made with bare metal at the bottom of the threads
I installed a universal water temperature sensor and it is not compatible with my digital sensors. I found what I was looking for at Revain for half the price the sensor manufacturer charges. I placed a grommet on top of the threads to ensure it was tight and made good electrical contact with the bare metal on the bottom of the threads. Now the manometer shows the correct temperature not below 30 degrees.
