Review on ICT Billet Plumbing Regulator F06AN08OR by Andrew Dickens

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Strong, powerful and a little tighter on the ORB end than I would like

I have an assortment of other fittings in different sizes, styles and materials. I previously bought an Evil Energy 2 pack with the same -8ORB through -6AN on Revain and they fit right into my Deatschuk's -8ORB ports. This time I needed hardware for some Holley fuel rails and loved the ICT blanks I used including the hardware. They're also difficult to start, but with a light anti-seize coating they went in without much trouble, but not as well as the Allen sockets on the other end. I've tried them all on both ends of the rails and find the fittings to be a bit too big. I've tried other fittings including Deatwerkks, Vibrant, FaSSter, and cheap Chinese nameless ones and they all fit a little better. The -6 cone fitted well so there was no problem with it. The hex part on them was real beef, 2x thicker than the silver Deatwerke 6-02-0401 fittings I have, and the hole drilled on the 8ORB side is a lot smaller, although it should leak enough , when I go above -6 on rails it just looks weird. Strong enough and tight enough that there is no problem with leaks, be sure to consider the length, I wanted 2 matching fittings to make it work. They just eat up the extra 1/8 inch or so. I wasn't expecting my 90 degree fittings to be attached to the edge block and my hoses are a little closer to the fire wall than it looks better and they're a little more obvious than I'd like. However, they work well if you're not picky like me and I won't replace them.

Pros
  • Replacement parts
Cons
  • Without machine
