Review on POWERTEC 71227 Anodized Aluminum Straightedge by Shawn Tolbert

Excellent ruler made of high quality aluminium. It's durable and resists corrosion even with regular exposure to saltwater splashes (although I always clean it afterwards). It's not very useful as a gauge: the marks are a printed sticker, prone to scratches, and the edge is almost 1/4 inch thick, so the marks are always that far from the paper unless you're setting it to the edge. While the straight edge is great, it's durable enough to withstand some real abuse.
