My daughter was VERY happy to use her 'new' backpack. It wasn't used for a full year while we were in distance learning for a full year. In her first week at her new school, with her laptop, lunch box and books, the zipper in the main compartment broke. We had to throw away the "new" backpack that was hardly used. Too bad, she liked it very much. We have not replaced it with the same model or brand. We have chosen a renowned backpack supplier.
