I made sure to tell someone where I am and when they expect me, just in case :) It took 15 minutes and he also cut out the key. He checked it several times before I left. $35 for two FOBS, $100 for both programmed keys. Only $135. Listed at dealers for around $250-350 (for ONE). It will take you several times to program the doors. You have to do it EXACTLY as he says. Read through the instructions several times beforehand. How do you know if you need a transponder programmed to start your car? If you see a flashing security icon on your dashboard, you need to complete this step. My understanding is that most post 2007 RAVs will need this. You can call your dealer and they can tell you based on your VIN number.
