This really really works on my Rav4 2007

Received a keyless replacement for my 2007 Rav4 today. I copied the key to home depot and had a small programming problem. Anyway I used this guide from You Tube and in less than 2 minutes my key was programmed and working https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mQmpLjYryRw. I just ordered another one. If I could give you 10**** I would. Forever grateful.

Easily programmable on a 2006 RAV4

Amazed! I saved the jury $250 because the Toyota dealership thieves wanted to charge them. I easily programmed it myself in 30 seconds using the instructions at programyourremote(dot)com. The wonderful folks at Ace Hardware cut it for FREE! Hello Toyota! That's how support works! Shame on Toyota for taking an arm and a leg for such a simple device. SIX STARS!

Pros
  • Sturdy construction

Too simple to even put into words.

I have a 2006 Toyota RAV4. Over the years the remote controls became worn and stopped working. I chose mechanical keys. No remote controls. Eventually I got fed up with the missing remote control function, so with cautious optimism I bought these two spare keys. I went to a local locksmith to have them cut off for $5 each. He wanted $80 each to program them. I decided to try it myself first. I went to the site, looked at my car and printed out the instructions. It took a few tries** but I was…

Works great!: Interior

This product works very well. I have a 2009 Scion xB that does NOT have a transponder in the key. When you get the key it comes with a little machine with a website address you can go to. Please note that the key does not come with a manual or instructions. I went to the website, entered my vehicle details and scrolled down. There you will find detailed instructions on how to program the remote control. It took a few tries to figure it out, but everything is programmed without much fuss. The…

Great buttons, great function, thickness and width OEM verified

I bought a 2010 Scion that only came with one key. After googling the key programming instructions these two key fobs i received were programmed and working as advertised. Then chaos ensued, and that's by no means the seller's fault here at Revain. If you buy these keys make sure you have a locksmith willing to cut them for you. After being turned down by Home Depot, Lowes, Wal Mart, and even a few Ace Hardwares here in town, I finally looked for a locksmith to carve them for me "at my risk"…

Pros
  • Replacement remote key that looks and works like the original
Cons
  • Great price

Disappointed but happy in the end.

I have an heir from 2012. it didn't just come with a programming website and when I checked it said verbatim "Sorry , if you landed on this page it means you have to go to a dealer or locksmith to program your key" when I ordered this key I did because I didn't pay more than 200€ for the dealer wanted to. In my frustration, I went to YouTube and searched "keychain programming for xb descendants 2012". I got about 5 or 6 results. None of them are for the Scion, but I went with one of them anyway

myths and facts. understand logistics.

I've been using it for a month now. So far no problems. As everyone has said hundreds of cheaper than what I got from two local Toyota dealers. Here are the myths and facts in a nutshell. You can program the keys to lock and unlock the doors yourself. As many have said, the panic button did not work on either FOBS. Not a deal breaker for me. Don't force programming the chip (transponder) to start the car by programming the doors to open/close confusingly. Two separate things. 2. If your vehicle
