Review on Adhesive Decorative Waterproof Stain Resistant Furniture by Nick Santos

It's a game. I lost this time.

Update: I thought I should wait a few more days but it turns out the two rolls I received didn't even match in color. A darker glossy black. I applied it to the countertop that I use as a kitchen countertop. At first it looked great. Application was easy, the vinyl was free of creases and creases and lay flat. However, after just a few days of use, these long straight bulges appeared on the surface of the vinyl on the side of the table I'm eating at. The surface on the other, less used side of the table still looked normal. But if you look closely, you can actually see that the material has long padding or grid-like lines to begin with (first image). It's something you won't really understand at first, especially with the glossy black vinyl sheen. But it is clear that when using the surface these indentations/lines are weak spots in the production vinyl which then float up and form these straight rows/bands of bumps. This happened in just a few days of regular and intentional use of the table, so it's quite frustrating to see that the material has flaws straight out of the box. For the price, it's not the worst in the world for converting my desktop into a kitchen table, but if you put it in the center of your home you just know it's likely to get those raised stripes. If it enters a closet or other surface that you don't interact with, you might be fine.

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • Not bad but...
