It was exactly what I was looking for to place in my bathroom. My husband had to change the wide lampshade because it was too big for the area I needed to place it. I like that you can toggle the brightness level switch. This was an issue I had with other night lights, they just weren't bright enough for the area I needed to illuminate at night. I was so impressed with this night light that I bought another one for our hallway. If I don't want to light up during the day when the hallway doesn't need a light, I just turn it off. Can't comment on energy efficiency yet as I haven't had it that long, but a night light doesn't add up to the electricity bill anyway!
