I have an old metal (read: boring) shower scraper that is in desperate need of replacing and I thought this item was cool enough to fill the bill. Made in the USA (verified), Award Winning Design (verified), Cool Factor (verified). The problem is that after 6 months I still prefer to use my old metal grip wiper with both. I would buy one of these again. maybe when decorating an eclectic rental property. It's a cheap-feeling plastic tube with an equally non-luxe-looking rubber lip that juts out over one side. In theory it's easier to use, but in practice I find it less ergonomic than the standard type. YMMV, and it's cheap so you won't lose a lot of money if, like me, you find you really don't like it.
