My previous BackBeat Fits were ok, but they definitely left something to be desired in terms of dynamic range. But they stayed in my ears and were loud enough to hear wind noise while pedaling at 15 mph. They weren't loud enough to hear anything through my Schwinn Airdyne's fan, so they were useless for watching TV during a workout. Well they just dumped it one day and although they tried to recover they were dead. So I bought them. Right at the start when they turned on the power the lady sounded like she was humming through a comb with wax paper on it (yes, cheap kazoo). The dynamic range is terrible. No lows, just highs and lows and a constant hum in quiet passages. So back. I bought a pair of Bose Soundsports. While they lack over-the-ear stability (I'm by no means an in-ear candidate), I'm working on the fit to enjoy the sound. That's great. Save $60 and buy Bose for $130. The difference between day and night.
