UPDATE: PGYTECH has contacted me for more information on an issue I am experiencing. They were very nice and polite and offered to replace the product myself, to which I agreed. I just received it today and although I haven't used it in action yet it was a very different initial experience than the first device I received which I'm sure must have been a fluke. When I took it out of the box it was in the "middle" cocking position. Perhaps less than half a turn is enough to loosen it to change position, and half a turn the other way to securely tighten it. I'd say this mount is more than suitable for those who don't want a permanent (and probably more cumbersome) mount, or want more than one mount to switch between. My original review is below for informational purposes. This probably shouldn't be taken as an indication of the average experience or what you'll get. However, I think you can count on PGYTECH to support their product and make it fit for you on the off chance that you have a less than excellent experience. INITIAL REVIEW: Well, I've seen lists of other PGYTECH mounting solutions that include the same articulating arm. These other items have good reviews. This is so confusing that the set screw seems so finicky that it needs to be either loosened or tightened. Debuff doesn't really debuff anything. It can be loosened too much so that the screw spins freely and can never be tightened again. I used to have RAM mounts that had a very similar method of articulation. I have also had a PGYTECH case for my Osmo Action for some time. This mount seemed like a more understated and stylish incarnation of a RAM mount, but I've never encountered problems like this with RAM. Your happiness may be vastly different from mine. I can find an easy fix here as it also stays "loose" very tight, but I remain skeptical.

Stays nice and tight on my handlebars, no worries about the build quality. Really impressed.
