This is my first computer in 7 years. My laptop works fine. but the keys are starting to fall off. I chose this all-in-one from HP for a number of reasons. The first reason was the brand name. I've been an HP guy since the early 90's and as far as I know I can't find any complaints about their products and once they fixed it right away. You have earned my trust. Second, the memory in this computer is more than enough for me, especially since I'm used to using external hard drives by now. I have a 1TB EHD and a 2TB EHD and this computer comes with the TB itself. Third reason: 4 USB ports is enough, especially since I also use a hub to add more ports. The fourth reason has to do with the HDMI and Ethernet connection. Wi-Fi is built in and so far this machine is fast. The base is a thick piece of cable, which completely surprised me and, I must say, pleasantly surprised me. It is very durable. It has a built in DVD player which for some reason stopped working on my laptop so that's a plus. The fifth reason is the beautiful design. The white is almost pure white and looks attractive to the eye. The same applies to wired mouse and wired keyboard. In addition, the keyboard is almost like a mechanical keyboard. The keys are almost clickable, so if you like that kind of keyboard style, this one won't disappoint. Finally speakers. The speakers are great. I bought desktop speakers with this computer because I was planning to use them to monitor some recordings, but the built-in speakers work as well or even better than the ones I bought. Something else. At the price I paid for this car, it almost feels like I'm taking candy from a child. I'm on a very limited budget because I'm disabled with heart disease. But if my credit card balance is low enough, I will definitely buy another one and give it to my daughter, and then I will do it again and give it to another daughter.
