Good chuck-like alternative for wide feet

I have a wide foot and would never be able to fit a chuck to my flintstone feet. So it's kind of a godsend in that regard. I usually take the size up because I have double wide feet, but they were very long on my feet and I found I could go down in size and still be comfortable. no not a pipe dream.
