Review on Mini AAA Keychain Flashlight - Nitefox K3 With 150 Lumens And 3 Brightness Levels - Small, Waterproof Torch For EDC, Camping, Hiking, Dog Walking, Reading, Sleep, And Emergencies by Alejandro Anaya

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Fits great on Leatherman holster.

Great little single AAA flashlight. Slightly shorter than my "pinky" finger in lenvth, significantly less in girth. Not much larger in girth than the battery it contains. It doesn't allow for beam focus like some larger flashlights have, but it does have a good useable beam pattern. It has 4 modes. Low, medium, high and strobe. There is no pushbutton switch. You turn it on by tightening the threaded lens barrel down all the way. The brightness modes are sequential, requiring a barrel twist "off" and then "on" again for the next brightness level. The strobe light is a little trickier requiring a quick off/on cycle. I never get it the first time I try. I'm not too worried about that as I cant imagine having any use for it. It comes with a clip and keychain attachment. I'm using the clip attachment, to aid in securing it to my holster. If you're a frequent user of the flashlight and keeping it on a keychain, it's unlikely that it could succeed in completing the 3+ rotations necessary for it to come apart. But if you hardly ever use it, I suspect that at some point, it'll make that 4th rotation and come apart, hopefully in your pocket or in your car so the lens end of the 2 piece barrel flashlight doesn't get lost. This isn't a searchlight or floodlight, but for close up work, to put some light on the subject, it's great. I think I'd prefer a pushbutton switch that remembers my last preference whenever I turn it on, but it's not a deal breaker. For the price, it's a great value and I'd buy it again.
