I didn't have key switches in the cockpit of a 2006 Ram 3500. All cigarette lighter and accessory plugs were plugged into Batt+. This device allowed me to install a relay from a 1 amp switchable button and run multiple switchable devices. DVR, non original JVC radio, radio front and rear camera and replacement mirror. In addition, this device allows you to easily connect the radio to the parking brake and reverse release. It also supplies power to the amplifier and antenna when needed. All cores are marked. I called customer service 3 times, they knew the product and were very helpful.
