You still need to buy a SWC adapter even if it says you don't have it.

Adapter for the SWC. The only reason I got this particular one is because it says you don't need any other adapters or modules to save the SWC. Also make sure you connect all cables even the amp cable (blue/white) even if you have no or no sound. I still don't have the SWC adapter but I will update it as soon as I get it.

Pros
  • . Great for me.
Cons
  • . Pretty much everything is fine.

Works great with Jeep JK

Too bad you have to integrate the entire wiring harness to get the aftermarket radio to work with the headlights and key. However, this only worked for me. The cable colors are universal and match the radio directly. I spent a little extra time soldering and packaging all the connections and found it was worth the extra time. That way, don't worry about loose wires. What more can I say - it plugs in and allows the integration of the radio with the headlight dimmer and ignition on/off functions…

So far, so good. Radio came standard on my Jeep

Installed on a 2012 Jeep Patroit. So far, so good. My Jeep had a stock radio. There is nothing extra! No steering wheel remote control. etc. On a super base jeep model. I'm still not 100% sure if this is necessary to solve problems with the computer (canBus). Of course it supplies simple 12V and power is retained after the key is removed. But it can also be reached via the cigarette lighter seat. So for convenience. Of course! but $65 is still steep for something you may or may not need. I…

What you need for CAN-Buss Ram

I didn't have key switches in the cockpit of a 2006 Ram 3500. All cigarette lighter and accessory plugs were plugged into Batt+. This device allowed me to install a relay from a 1 amp switchable button and run multiple switchable devices. DVR, non original JVC radio, radio front and rear camera and replacement mirror. In addition, this device allows you to easily connect the radio to the parking brake and reverse release. It also supplies power to the amplifier and antenna when needed. All…

Good product. Read the instructions carefully.

Read the instructions very carefully. VERY IMPORTANT. If you have a factory amplified system, CONNECT THE FRONT OUTPUTS OF THE UNSOLD RADIO TO THE REAR INPUTS OF THE RADIO'S 22-PIN CONNECTOR. White to Green input, White/Black to Green/Black input, Gray to Violet input, Gray/Black to Violet/Black input. I didn't read the instructions on this step carefully and made white to white etc. As a result, everything worked except for the phone/bluetooth sound. Go back and read this step, it was an easy…

Very easy, took some time to program

Installation was pretty easy overall. I upgraded a Dodge SUV with steering wheel controls to a new radio. The system has allowed me to set and continue using the steering buttons which I like and is a safety feature as I don't have to take my hands off the wheel to change channels or adjust the volume (or other things if/how) set up). In order to program my radio, the programming process had to be repeated several times. I had to tweak some settings and play around with it a bit. Not sure if it

Works as described. Installed on my Dodge.

Works as described. I installed it on my Dodge Caliber with an upgraded Boston audio system with a factory amp built in and it worked. I found out I needed it after installing a new head, but no sound came out of the speakers. Please note that if you purchase this item and have a factory sound system with an amplifier and CAN bus, you may not be able to use your new radio's speaker wires as this will produce a loud hiss. If you have made all the connections and are hearing a loud hiss, consider

Not everything is so good! Fits spares

Well, it's time to start. Don't buy this! I ordered this hoping to keep my factory Alpine amp and speakers. They sound great to me, but the factory radio was outdated and I wanted to swap it out. So I buy a good modern radio and this harness/adapter. Well the instructions were reasonably clear but they didn't have details about the board but they do have a technical line. So I call and get help and they seem nice but on conversation they tell me they have removed my car from their list of uses…

Pros
  • Ideal for a small home

  • Reliability

I installed my 2013 Dodge GrandCaravan and also added a backup camera! Everything works exceptionally well, including the factory steering wheel controls. Now vase and enjoy music in my car! Here are my used parts (sorry as I'm a new user I can't post links) --1. Steering Wheel Control --2. Reversing Camera --3. Dodge installation finishing kit including antenna adapter4. Soldering iron and solder 5. PAC radio replacement interface --6. Fairing Removal Tool --7. Dremel tool kit (needs cutting)…
