The sensor worked as expected, but you may need this installation tip.
I installed this part on my 2008 Chevy Avalanche. As some others have posted, my setup wasn't exactly perfect, but it wasn't overly complicated either. I had to fit the new rubber bushing into the existing rubber bushing as the new one was smaller in diameter and didn't seal well. To hold the two bushings together I used super glue to hold them together. If I didn't do that, the inner sleeve kept slipping out of the larger one. With this completed, the rest of the setup was as detailed by several others.
