I bought these for my 1993 Harley Davidson FXRS. The bike still has the factory anti-dive system and these grips are for the air valve on the handlebars. Although I was skeptical about the price of my grips as my grips were in good condition, I was impressed by the reviews I read and liked the look of the grips. So I took the plunge. I was impressed with how they feel out of the box and installation was easy. If you don't like written instructions, there are videos online showing the whole process to make it easier. If you are unfamiliar with maintaining your bike, I also recommend watching a video on how to adjust your throttle cables while changing your cranks, as I wired up my carburetor cables during installation. The feel of these pens compared to the originals is day and night. The comfort and vibration dampening are fantastic. For that reason alone I didn't give it 5 stars. I've read reports of various wear issues. As I haven't ridden them many miles and they were great I don't know if these reviews were accurate or not. Installation was easy and the included adhesive has been great so far, but then again, since I haven't ridden many miles on the grips and they haven't been exposed to seasonal temperature changes, I don't know for how long. At the moment I have absolutely no regrets about this purchase, installation, comfort and how the black finish is complemented. my motorcycle.
