Not for use with microphones or gaming headsets.

3-wire accessory cables should no longer exist. And I don't have to worry about random order. This cable will not work with devices released after 2008. Does not support devices with a microphone or computers/phones with a single headphone jack instead of separate microphone/speaker jacks.
