This is my fourth pair of Sperry sneakers. While not all the same, they are similar to this one, my second pair of bangs. They come in different colors and both the ones I bought look very elegant. I find them to be fairly comfortable, durable summer shoes - especially when compared to Chucks or Vans, which are poorly made and unwearable (yes, so I've reached that point in my life). I wear them quite often from spring to autumn, but in the summer they are often used. They don't get wet and, in my experience, dry quickly: just pull out the liner and leave in the sun. They are easy to wash in the sink with detergent and a brush. I walk a lot and find them very comfortable. The insert offers some support and cushioning but isn't very structured. So if you have foot problems you need to add something else for support. You can wear them dressy or casual depending on your style or situation. The insoles last about 6 months for me and I have to get replacements. I can usually get two summers out of a pair before relegating them to gardening. I definitely think they are valuable. I know the brand is pretty preppy but I manage to rock it despite never owning a Vineyard Vines polo or anything and wearing makeup.
