I bought this bag after I returned the ThinkTank Retrospective 7. The TT bag just didn't do quite what I wanted. I need an "event" bag, not an "everything" bag. I need easy access to a speedlight and a couple of lenses and accessories while I have my camera around the other shoulder. This bag is great for portrait shoots, weddings and nature walks when a backpack just isn't gonna get it done. I can change lenses easily and quietly and it has a TON of space. And it looks good! I would have given 5 stars, but for 3 nit-picky issues. I wish it had come with a couple extra dividers for the insert. I wish it had some type of feet or reinforcement at the bottom for weather and puddle protection. And the strap pad at the shoulder is terrible and offers no padding or comfort. All of these things are DIY-able, and really don't detract from the fact that I LOVE this bag. BTW, I spent less than $50 for it, so I can beat the snot out of it and replace it 3 times if I have to for the same approximate cost of the higher end bags.
