A lot to like but with limitations

**Newest Update** Having used this bag almost daily for several months I have to say the following: I like the bag but just cannot love this bag. I do believe this bag is close to being a great bag but a few thing would have to change, in my opinion. 1. a couple more velcro inserts would make the DSLR camera easier to remove because it would be cradled better. 2. get rid of the goofy top pad on the insert. 3. add a couple of pen/pencil holders in the front pocket or top flap and maybe an elastic band to hold a few memory cards. 4. the buttons on the sides of the bag are just too difficult to open. I've included a few images- you can see how much I carry almost daily, the secret zipper pocket and the two orientations I use for my camera. Please note I removed the computer sleeve. I do carry a nook often and do not use the computer sleeve and it has never been an issue.**UPDATE** Having used this daily for well over a month I still have to stand by my review. I will say that I did find a pocket on the inside back that I have never seen before! So we will see if that will work well for pens/pencils and small notepad.**I want to love this bag. I am coming from 10+ years of using a Rover AW II (I think this point is important), I still have this bag and it is in great shape still. The reason I bought the messenger bag is because of looks and functionality. I only need to carry lots of equipment hiking a few times a year but I have my camera with me most days of the week and don't want to look like the old guy walking everywhere with a huge backpack.I wanted the look of canvas and top handle as I also use this bag to carry work stuffs into meetings. I believe this has an throw-back classic look and feel. I really like the feel of the canvas and the color is spot-on. Within a few days I got a dozen compliments on this bag, overall I am happy with the bag. The bag is super comfortable wearing it across the chest and even walking a few miles with it on. The first thing I did when I got the bag was treat it with "neverwet" product as I have no plans on using the raincover. What I don't care for is the lack of extra Velcro spacers, I like my SLR camera to be in the bag lens down and it doesn't feel as secure in that position as my other bag (snuggled in it's lower compartment). I believe two more spacers would make the bag more customizable and more functional. The snap buckle takes more effort than what I expected for opening and closing, my fault for wanting a top handle bag. Also, I would of loved to see the front pouch to have at least one, maybe two pen/pencil holder.Overall, I do like this bag and it is great for the price ($50). I do wish there were better pictures of the overall product and would love if the company could take into consideration the extra velcro spacers and the few pen/pencil slots in the future.Whats in my bag: Nikon D500 body with 16-85mm lens attached, 100mm macro lens, two Godox TT685N flashes (yes, they do HSS), couple of batteries and a few media cards. Also a few odds and ends like paper and a few pens. On occasion I do carry a small tablet.
