While out on our latest camping trip with some friends, the little girl who lives nearby, dumped a toy shovel full of dirt all over my dog a few different times. He came home gray instead of black. So, we tried out the shampoo on a really dirty dog.My dog is not a fan of getting washed, but he tolerated it. The shampoo did a nice job of removing all of the extra dirt from his body. It lathered up nicely, spread evenly, and it was easy to get him rinsed clean. His face didn’t get as clean as we would like, but we have that problem every time we wash him.Almost a week later my dog still smells really good, and it is still easy to comb his fur. I am amazed that there is very little fur left in the brush for us to clean out when he is done getting brushed. I like the shampoo, and I would buy it again.
