Review on 🚚 Reese Towpower 74281 Pintle Hook Mount: A Heavy-Duty Towing Solution by Kenneth Martin

This hitch plate fits my current configuration perfectly. I bought it to tow my excess M1101 trailer. The M1101 is made primarily from aircraft grade aluminum and is therefore quite light. Even fully loaded to the weight limit, it does not come close to the weight limits of this trailer hitch. Other than that I've used it a few times and it works great. The only thing I noticed is that there is a bit of play between the hitch and the donut ring on my trailer. This is only because the donut ring on the excess pendant is quite large in diameter. I would say almost as big as the rings on the trailers that I use for a living. So it's not the trailer hitch. Although this is not so important. It's just that you have to slow down a bit at the traffic light and then the trailer stops pulling. Posted some photos of my setup. One was before I painted the trailer olive grey. I don't live in the desert so the desert color had to be removed. Also, my new topper was a forest camouflage. Either way, lads and gals, this hitch is legal and works great.
