Bought this part for my 2006 Infiniti M35 because my fans were running at full speed all the time. I installed a new device thinking everything was fine, but as soon as we got hot weather my car started overheating. Fans turn on and off again. Assuming I received a defective part, I bought a second unit, but it did the same thing. Thinking my machine was causing the problem, I checked the power, ground, and signal wires, but they were all fine. I checked the fan current draw and found that both fans are running at 14 amps each. When I unplugged one of the fans from the fan control box, the fan worked fine, then I powered on the other fan and it also worked fine. After much torment, I purchased an OEM fan module from a local Infiniti dealer and my problem was solved. Maybe I'm just unlucky, but 2 devices with the same defect look suspicious. Save time and buy a factory part.
