This is a good hour meter if only installing it on a device that doesn't move. When buying anything that needs to be transported: motorcycles, portable generators, small engines. Of course, the timer works during transport. There is no switch, so you have to record the hours before and after the ride and subtract them from the actual time. Lots of unnecessary math where a simple switch can be activated while driving to pause the timer.
