I was so excited to get it and I really wanted to love it. But . . . . as they say you get what you paid for. Modeled after the original Gingher Crane scissors, this is a very sad attempt and very poorly made. Blades are long but vary in thickness, slightly curved and NOT sharp as listed and on actual packaging. After using them for ONE WEEK to cut embroidery floss and a tiny silk ribbon, the blades became dull and are now tearing my ribbon. Flower scissors have much nicer blades, they are shorter and sharper, but the decorative flowers on the handles are serrated. and uncomfortable. The finger holes are very large for such a small pair of scissors. I have fairly large fingers and they slide right into my knuckles when I try to cut. Because of this, I had to slide them back to get a better grip. Save your money and wait for a 50% discount coupon at your local craft store and buy some real gingher scissors there. Even tiny dollar store mustache scissors work better than these :-(
