Review on 🔔 Efficient Retekess T-116 Wireless Calling System with 20 Coaster Pagers and 1 Call Button Keypad for Restaurants, Food Trucks, Churches, Cafes, and Shops by Donia Carey

We use these pagers for our restaurant in a fairly large food hall (15 vendors). We check all 20 pagers fairly often. This doesn't mean that we only ever use the first 5 or 6 and they're the ones that fail. Apparently by mistake, several pagers became unreliable. They don't even respond to line of sight as little as 50-100 feet indoors. From the start, they never received a signal outdoors, although similar pagers from other manufacturers could. We put it down to our location being bad for a pager signal. The lights went out on some pagers. The call button on the main unit stops working even if it is pressed the first time every time. We had another cheap pager system before, but we bought this one to have more pagers. The other brand seemed more reliable in terms of response, but it didn't hit outdoor patios either. This brand LOOKS like they are higher quality but they are not as well maintained as our old ones. For something controlled by unwary guests, they probably aren't strong enough to withstand daily abuse for more than 6 months. If they lasted a full year we might feel like we got our money's worth, but even at 1/5 the price of a more powerful LRS system it's probably not worth it. It's probably worth spending the money on this cheap kit to teach staff not to hand out food without returning the pager. It will probably be a lot more painful to lose the more expensive ones.
