Review on πŸ”– MoKo Slim Lightweight Smart Shell Stand Cover for iPad Pro 9.7 - Translucent Frosted Back Protector | Space Gray, Auto Wake/Sleep | 2016 Release Tablet by Scott Spoja

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Good for the price, but not outstanding

A good case for the price. It's thin and looks high quality. I've had moko cases before and haven't had any issues with them. The transparent back cover looks like a nice copper veil, and the cover appears to match the color of the charcoal gray Apple Smart Cover. The cutouts are sufficiently large and precisely cut, and the buttons work well. I don't know how much protection this case will offer, but most major iPad cases offer similar protection, including the Apple Smart Cover and Case. The cover folds into a stand for vertical landscape mode for watching videos and at an angle for typing, just like the Apple Smart Cover. The kickstand still works, but the magnets don't seem to be as strong as the Smart Cover. As expected, the magnets in the lid also offer a sleep/wake mode. While I generally like this case, one of the main issues I had was that it didn't fit a bit. I couldn't securely snap it into the shell no matter how hard I squeezed. Normally this would be a deal breaker, but it was actually red-handed, although it didn't seem to click right. Regardless, it's not the fit and finish that inspires confidence in a case for your new iPad, so I had to deduct a star and nearly two. If this case cost more than what I paid ($11) I would give it 2-3 stars because it doesn't fit perfectly. Since it seems to hold the iPad securely and everything else works, I can give it 4 stars and recommend it for the price ($11), although I suspect most will be looking for a better case for a little more money.

Pros

Cons
