Review on 💧 APEC FI ES TCR QC Undersink Water Capacity by Ricky Habbani

If you have an older system the 5th stage filter is FI-ES-TCR which has different fittings than this filter. This filter has quick connect fittings (hence the QC designation) while the non-QC filter has threaded fittings. Unfortunately, APEC has changed the filter and let some of the customer base down because you can no longer get the original threaded filter. The two are not interchangeable. You cannot replace the 5th stage filter in an older system without replacing the lines with quick disconnects. I urge the buyer to be careful as there is no disclaimer on Revain or the APEC website that the filter style has been changed and string changes are also required.
