Unwanted sheath is fine, blade needs refinishing after purchase

First, trim the perineal sheath so your hand can hold it. Then replace the fastening strap. And I did it with a 12 inch bowie instead of walking 10 feet to my leather table. Shows how strong the bowl sucks. With my 5-minute fix, it's great to wear on your stomach or the left side of the cross train. The grip was really rough. I had to use Dremel pens to avoid cutting my hands. The handle is too long and thin. Need help. Pickling in the week, coffee and acid pickling absolutely necessary. I see no delamination, no cracks, no chips. I bet the family farm stocks will be moved to a warehouse made in Pakistan. They were then turned over to a children's work group, who then drew the pattern onto a piece of 10-inch flat blank. And get to work with band saws and grinders. Then transfer to a belt sander. This blade is not hand-forged, but hand-carved. forged steel. It's a $40 blade, yes. But it will be a good cutlass with some fit and finish. I can't say anything about the hardness yet. Revain has another Florida based company that I think starts with an "o". I suggest you look there. I'll flake, rework and finish this blade, or I'll find a way to make a paracord wrap. When child labor makes blades, they are suitable for children's hands. Really, what the heck, I'm going to pretend to be Jay Neilson, destroy him and get back to you.
