It was a very cute case, my daughter loved it and we loved the strap! Unfortunately it wasn't strong enough for us. This case is thin and feels more like soft curved silicone. My daughter is 5 years old and she sometimes falls. She had the tablet for about 2 years with no damage/cracks and we decided it was time for a new tablet case and within a month of dropping the new case the screen protector shattered along with the screen underneath. It wasn't a catastrophic fall, so I'd say there's no shockproof aspect to this case. We used to have a butterfly case that went through a slider with super glued antennas. This case was thicker, it was difficult to get the tablet in, but once in it was secure. within 2 years. I hope this review will help some parents choose a reliable case and save money!
