I'm picky about the audio and video quality. At first I was Leary, but because of the cheap price I took a chance. It turned out to be everything I needed and what I expected from the sound quality. I have an old JBL 12" subwoofer, that was an expensive subwoofer a few years ago. The amp burned out, the subwoofer broke. So instead of throwing away great sound and looking for some sun, I decided to use an amp and bypassing the internal amplifier. I connected the speaker directly to a fosi 300 watt amplifier and it worked! Now life has returned to the old submarine. And if I didn't know better I would say that this amplifier is better than JBL's There are no recorded Hz levels on the frequency control, I turned it up to hit the low end and the bass seems deeper than before So I think this amp with lower Hz levels can handle than the JBL. The bass is also clear with no distortion. I used to get distortion and loud bass and I always thought it was a speaker, no, it was an amplifier. As oh I recommend it! Next time I plan to build my own theater subwoofer and use one of these to power it.
