I was a little skeptical about the price of this item as I bought my wife a competitor model (which I won't mention) that worked well but had to be changed every year i found this model to be as good or even better than this model, the away alarm on my phone works very well, i had some issues with the device beeping when i looked for it but i found out that my app was out of date, after update from playstore it works fine, in search mode it makes a loud beep that even we old people can hear. Conclusion: $20 well spent.
