So you're probably wondering, like many of you, should I go for this or Autel or the rig. I'm here to try and help with that. I've played with many different scanning tools and I feel like I have a good idea of whether it's a good tool or not. So the first bar is not included in the list as you will not find it at this price point and I will not compare it to the Autel mk808 as it is in the same price range. For starters I have to say I'm really impressed that the crp909e runs at the price it comes at and has an absolute ton of options. This allows you to communicate with almost any control module you need. I've tested it quite a lot and it works really well with your regular vehicles like Honda, Mazda, Ford, Toyota, Nissan etc, although it should work with almost every brand. To be honest I think it would haha. What really strikes me about this is that when running Diagnostics, which is going to be the main one you're going to use, I expect it to go through all the modules very quickly (see the video), which autel smokes. In addition, you get a report that you can send to yourself to keep an eye on your customers' cars, or you can send them a direct report to help show them what's going on. This feature is very handy for me personally and for anyone who likes to keep logs. Well, I'm not here to just tell you it's all rainbows and sun, because it's not, and the main thing Autel excels at is button programming. well, in some cases i programmed the key of a mazda 3 with autel (other cars are mostly easier, mazda is just more difficult). I had to enter the incode using the incode calculator that I had to buy. Well with this launch crp909e all I had to do was enter vin and it pulled it ready to be programmed. I tried programming a new key (bad immobilizer) and was told it succeeded when Autel said it failed, which I prefer to the truth. but a few days later i tried again with the right immobilizer and it worked fine. so just a note for the future. The UI was very clean and very responsive for me. I really enjoyed using it during the time I had it while it worked like a champ. I also trust this seller I contacted with a little quirk and they responded and helped me. plus Amazon won't let you have bad experiences. So what are the pros and cons compared to autel and with that the pros: faster diagnosis speed, you also have a lot more modules that interact better with it compared to autel for the same price. for cons. autel will let you know if it's not doing something right (e.g. if the button is programmed), so whether you choose autel or Launch you won't have a bad time. This is an absolutely monstrous machine that I wish I had picked up when I started out rather than keep buying cheap different ones this is a one time purchase and your set. It can do everything a beginner to advanced mechanic needs, even good for pros if you don't need a bi-directional scan tool. I hope this review can help someone who is concerned about this. It is a good scanning tool and its name can be trusted.
